"It's All About The Light" Exhibition

May 17 - Jun 30, 2019

I have an image in this exhibtion.

The Central Coast Photographic Society’s biennial juried exhibition at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art, It’s All About the Light, successfully challenged artists nationwide to submit their interpretation of this theme. Professional photographer Marc Muench was chosen by the Photo Society as their juror this year. After studying 195 submitted images, Mr. Muench selected 46 photographs for exhibition.

This national exhibition attracted outstanding photographers from across the United States, with the greatest number from California. Muench was not privy to the photographer’s identity and had no way of knowing who or where the artist lived as he selected the artwork to be exhibited. Interestingly, talented local photographers, many of them already members of the Museum of Art and its affiliated Central Coast Photographic Society, made up 44% of the accepted individual photographers. Viewers will recognize many local photographers’ artwork in this exhibition, and see the artwork by talent photographers accepted to this exhibition from Idaho and New York.
