LA Artcore 1st Annual Photographic Competition and Exhibition:

LA Artcore (LAAC) is pleased to announce our 1st Annual Online Photographic Competition and Exhibition. The Exhibition in February 2017 will kickoff the celebration of LA Artcore's 38 years of supporting contemporary art and developing the careers of visual artists of diverse cultural backgrounds. 

60 juror selected Images will be exhibited at LA Artcore's downtown historic gallery in The Los Angeles Brewery, one of the oldest and largest art colonies in the world. Covering 23 acres in 14 buildings of live-work spaces, 500-700 artists and businesses call The Brewery their home.

Richard Vogel - Photojournalist, Los Angeles Photo Editor for The Associated Press. 
Brian C. Moss - Lecturer in Photography and Faculty Senate, Loyola Marymount University LA - MFA California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, CA. 
Karen Hampton - Internationally exhibited artist exploring ancestral stories through the convergence of photography and textiles. Former professor of art at Howard University, Washington D.C. Recently complete a 7-week residency at Sacatar Foundation, Itaparica, Bahia, Brazil, researched Rendieras Culture
Jeff Alu - Widely-exhibited artist, former exhibitions director at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art
